Novak Djokovic has showcased his notorious impersonation skills once again, this time in the name of charity, in a new advert for ANZ Australia.

Days before the start of the Australian Open the World No 1 has shown life is not all about tennis in this effort to raise money for World Vision Australia, a charity dedicated to overcoming poverty and injustice.

The 30 second clip features the Serbian assuming the roles of the likes of Pat Cash, John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg, each famed for their eccentric headbands.

It’s a fine example of the 28-year-old using his image and popularity in the service of a good cause.

The Campaign encourages people to share their most creative headband photo to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #HeadbandforGood with ANZ donating AUD$2 to World Vision Australia for each one.

The comedic tennis superstar does not hold back in his performance, delivering McEnroe’s classic sayings ‘the ball was on the line!’ and ‘you cannot be serious man!’.

In the video he urges viewers to join in saying ‘the more people we get involved the more money we raise for a good cause’.

Djokovic faces Tomas Berdych in the semifinals of the Qatar open today having defeated Leonardo Mayer of Argentina 6-3, 7-5 on Thursday.

The Australian Open kicks off on January 18th with the Serb aiming to defend his title.
